Micro founder named as a Top 30 Sustainable Shaper 2025 finalist

The LEVA-EU member's founder and CEO, Wim Ouboter, has been named in NZZ's Sustainable Switzerland's shortlist of pioneers, opinion leaders and visionaries that have made an outstanding contribution to championing sustainability in Switzerland.

Since establishing Micro Mobility Systems AG in 1997, Wim Ouboter has been a key challenger of the transportation status quo for decades with his sustainable mobility offering. Wim's vision of less space, fewer emissions and a better quality of life, led him to drive for smarter, cleaner, and more compact ways to get around cities, inspiring cutting-edge inventions, from the Kick Scooter to the electric Microlino.

As a company, Micro has stated its pride in witnessing its founder's lifelong commitment to sustainable innovation being acknowledged, and looks forward to September 2nd when the Sustainable Shapers 2025 winners will be announced at the Sustainable Switzerland Forum in Bern.
