Eurocircuits advocates for stronger European electronics market

LEVA-EU member Eurocircuits' Managing Partner gave a presentation about how public policy and Europe's electronic ecosystem can help improve industry opportunities at Evertiq in Berlin, Germany.

On June 5, Dirk Stans, founder of Eurocircuits, took to the stage at Evertiq, presenting pragmatic proposals on how to make the European electronics market stronger. He shared how public policy can improve local manufacturing support, reduce inefficiencies and transform Europe's comprehensive industrial knowledge into a long-term strength. Stans also underscored the EU Chips Act as a strong political signal as he highlighted the key role that Europe's entire electronics ecosystem (especially PCB and assembly manufacturing) needs to play.

Stans detailed the following practical Quick Wins in his presentation:

• European Origin First ‚Äì at least 60% value creation in the EU
• Raw Material Transparency ‚Äì a digital platform for critical raw materials and components
• Harmonised Standards ‚Äì less complexity, more innovation
• Fair Rules for Market Participants ‚Äì a level playing field in the EU

At the event Stans also participated in a panel discussion, giving key perspectives revolving around the following questions:

• How can Europe regain control of its industrial future?
• How can we strengthen Europe‚Äôs supply chain despite global dynamics?

Lastly, Stans also represented Europe's PCB and EMS industry when he was interviewed by Dennis Dahlgren from Evertiq.

Eurocircuits booth at Evertiq

It was Eurocircuits' first time exhibiting its services with its PCB/PCBA Visualizer and HDI pool at the event, where its team received positive feedback from booth visitors. It was also announced that the company had won second place in a competition for the most booth visitors, exemplifying its successful time at Evertiq.
